Waterpark Policies

Maui Jack's is all about the Aloha spirit! To keep things friendly, here are a few house rules...

MAUI JACK'S SEASON

We are open beginning Saturday, May 27. Please check our Events page for our current schedule, hours and upcoming events.

ADMISSION

All guests entering the waterpark must pay an admission fee. We DO NOT offer spectator admission. All guests must purchase and wear an armband during their stay in the waterpark. Armbands are good for all-day access, you may leave and come back throughout the day as long as you are still wearing your armband. Admission is non-refundable.

WEATHER

Maui Jack’s will always ensure our guests safety comes first, ride operations may be suspended due to inclement weather and will resume when conditions clear. While we do not offer refunds due to inclement weather, we will provide rainchecks if operations are suspended for more than 90 minutes. Guests must turn in a valid wristband on the day of the closure in order to receive their raincheck.

OUTSIDE FOOD & DRINK

Outside food, drinks, or coolers will NOT be permitted. Exceptions are made for those with medical conditions with dietary restrictions. Those with dietary restrictions are permitted to bring in a small cooler with food and drinks providing medical documentation. We do have a picnic area just outside the park entrance that is available to any guest who wishes to pack a lunch. Coolers must be left in your vehicle and will not be permitted past ticket redemption.

APPROPRIATE DRESS

This is a family-friendly attraction. All patrons must wear full coverage bathing suits, one or two-piece swimsuits, or shorts that stop above or just below the knees. No jeans, shoes, water shoes, goggles, or life vests are permitted on slides. Thong bottom swimwear and suits with metal clasps or components such as rivets, zippers, and buckles are not permitted. Casts and braces of any kind are not permitted on any attraction. Offensive clothing is not permitted.

HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS

Attraction restrictions vary for those Over and Under 48". Guests must obey the height requirement for each slide without question. Height checks will be conducted at ticket redemption. Children under 48" will receive a wristband that indicates which rides they are eligible to ride. For safety reasons, Lifeguards may still request a height check at their discretion. Children under 48" REQUIRE adult supervision at all times and are NOT permitted on our larger attractions.

PARK SAFETY

Please obey ALL Lifeguards and posted signs. We know you are amped to be here but no running in the waterpark. Water shoes and flip-flops are not permitted on the slides but are suggested when you are moving throughout the park or restrooms. Aqua socks are permitted on most attractions but are subject to operator approval. Guests may not bring their own tents or umbrellas. Children under 48" REQUIRE adult supervision at all times.

SMOKING

No smoking or vaping is permitted within the waterpark. We provide a designated smoking area outside of the waterpark.

CASTS & INJURY BRACE

Guests wearing casts or braces designed for injuries are permitted to ride the Lazy river but are NOT permitted on any waterslide attractions.

LIFE JACKETS

Life jackets we provide are Coast Guard approved, are available while supplies last. Life Jackets are mandatory for anyone under 48" while at the Lazy River.

SAFETY BREAKS

At the top of the hour, our guards announce "Safety Break" for our Kiddie Area/pool. *Breaks are usually 5-10 minutes.

We clear the pool, especially on really busy days, to ensure no safety hazards have developed in the water, equipment, or facility. When the attraction is packed, it can be difficult to see under and around everything. This gives the guards a chance to do a quick check without any obstruction, and a chance to ensure every swimmer under 48" has a parent and/or guardian with them in the water

It is also for our younger swimmers who may need an escort or a reminder to take a trip to the bathroom. We love having our littlest swimmers, but swim diapers need a check to keep our pool clean and safe to play in. Safety break is a great time to do this and take our toddlers to the potty.

INFANTS

For the safety and comfort of all our guests, diapers will not be permitted in any pool. All babies and toddlers under the age of 3 will be required to wear approved swim diapers when entering any pool or attraction. Approved swim diapers are available for purchase at the retail outlet in the Welcome Building. The changing of diapers is not permitted in pool or deck areas. Changing stations are located in the family restroom.

LOCKER RENTAL

Lockers are available at the waterpark for a nominal daily fee. Maui Jack’s is not responsible for the loss of any valuables.

We want all of our visitors to have an awesome time but violation of rules will result in immediate removal from the waterpark without refund.
