About Maui Jacks

Jack Hogan was born November 22, 1959 in Columbus, Indiana. He later moved to Chicago, Illinois where he lived until 1976. He had seen many local bands as a boy and loved all kinds of music. His first major concert was the Eagles in Indianapolis in 1975. After that he was hooked. He began going to as many concerts as he could. He picked up his first bass guitar at the age of 20. He taught himself to play by ear. Since than he has also learned to play the guitar, and piano.He joined his first band at the age of 21. The name of the band was Lotus. He has been in several bands since then. Reflection was a top 40 dance band that traveled around. through Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Ohio and Michigan playing the Holiday Inn Remada Inn circuit. After doing that for a few years he landed back in Aurora Illinois where he hooked up with fellow musicians Dave Wormley and Pat Cassidy. Dave & Jack formed a band called Amigdula and played for several years until the drummer wigged out and left the band. Jack and Dave wrote many tunes however never got a chance to record them. Jack purchased his first Pro-Tools setup in 2001. With the help of Dave Wormley and Pat Cassidy A little Somethin for Everyone was written and recorded. Jack finished the project while living in Maui, Hawaii in 2005. Jack is currently working on his next project living in Chicago Illinois.

	Dave Wormley was born 10/17/1964 in Aurora Illinois. Dave musical experience includes 4 years of piano lessons and training 29 years of guitar playing and two years of Music school. Dave has been in several bands in the Chicago area including, Dirty Monkey, D-rail-d and as of late Heavy Vinyl. 	Patrick Cassidy was born August 28, 1967 in Aurora, Illinois. Pat Cassidy is a musician in the Chicago land area currently in two bands. The first band is Shadoz Edge, (www.shadozedge.com) which he has been in for the last thirteen or so. The other band is called Heavy Vinyl. (www.myspace.com/heavyvinyl) ) which he has been in for about three months. Pat has taken many years of music theory and been playing guitar for nearly 25 years. Jack Hogan and Pat Cassidy have been playing and creating music together for over 15 years. Pat has also been in other bands to include, Natural Disaster and D-rail-d and has played on several albums and been in several videos.
